In this new, free webinar Phil Zimbardo will take us on an unusual journey of exploration and introspection. We will review both the psychology of evil and the psychology of heroism, with old and new faces.
Many feelings and concerns have been arising during these complex times of global pandemic and the need for more effective, widespread social justice. A framing of current realities in psychological terms is called for. We will reflect on our emerging circumstances, combined with research-based ways to understand and respond to our current challenges. A review of some of the core principles of systemic injustice will be offered.
Participants will also preview a newly developed program, the “Zimbardo Systemic Engagement” program. The ZSE offers participants an opportunity to learn and practice evidence-based resilience skills, as well as ways to make sense of and effectively engage a variety of situational and systemic issues.
This webinar will strive to inspire all of us to come together as a community of care. We will highlight the benefits of contributing to a more just world, by practicing applied skills of well-being and an inspiring socio-centric focus.
